Your passion for cooking will help make {SAMA} the best in the business. We are a scratch kitchen with an emphasis on farm to table working with many local purveyors in Georgia keeping everything as fresh as possible. We are seeking full-time and part-time employees with a passion for the culinary arts and previous prep-cook experience. We want to build a fun, cohesive staff that work together to put out the best product we can offer.
Here, you’ll get a chance to learn a great deal about Ayurvedic foods, scratch cooking and seasonal produce. Candidates should be reliable, creative, excited to grow as a member of a strong team, and passionate about health & the culinary arts. You must keep a clean workstation, possess basic knife skills, knowledge of kitchen sanitation requirements, provide strong communication, and be attentive to details. We are looking for people eager to develop healthy food programs, willing to support our Sous Chef and collaborate thoughtfully with our small & talented culinary team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 1 year cooking experience NOT IN FAST FOOD
- We expect professional employees with a positive attitude
- Ability to take direction from Sous Chef and support coworkers
- Passion for delivering delicious and healthy foods
- A genuine desire to learn new culinary skill sets
- Ability to keep a calm and level head under high pressure
- Ever growing and evolving knowledge and understanding of our food and beverage menu as it changes from season to season.
- Restocking, consolidating, proper labeling and organizing food storage, incoming deliveries and leftovers.
- Maintain a proper understanding and skills for food preparation, cooking methods/recipes, dishwashing, facility cleaning and customer service
- Knowledge of kitchen health codes and food safety regulations
- Ability to multitask
- Strong professional communication skills
- Supporter of environmentally friendly and sustainable practices
