Heron Pond Farm is seeking multiple Farm Crew Members for the 2018 season

We are looking for full-time (5 days-a-week)

Job Duties include:

• Harvesting a large variety of vegetable and berry crops
• Washing/sorting/packing veggies for markets, CSA, and wholesale outlets
• Transplanting and limited hand weeding
• Occasional greenhouse work including planting, seeding, watering, and general maintenance
• Working retail at local Farmer's Markets (Exeter,Portsmouth, and Newburyport)

Qualifications:

• Farm experience is not a must! We are mainly looking for an individual with a good work ethic and positive attitude
• Enjoy working outside in the lovely New England weather
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Willingness to learn and an interest in agriculture
• Ability to take direction and have excellent attention to detail
• Promptness and Accountability
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Good story teller a plus

Starting compensation is $11/hr, plus a whole bunch of delicious, seasonal veggies
