Company description Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of NYS, between the Erie Canal and Lake Ontario, CCE Wayne is part of the national Cooperative Extension System and is specifically associated with Cornell University.  Job description We are looking for two dynamic individuals to join our extension team.  The first position requires a BS in nutrition or related field and is for a Subject Educator working in our Eat Smart New York regional community education program.  Our second position requires an MS in nutrition or related field and is for a Resource Educator in Nutrition and Local Foods.  This person will teach nutrition and manage our current grant programs and collaborate with community groups and schools. 

The Nutrition and Local Foods (NLF) Resource Educator (MS required) is the lead team member in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programming provided to the community through the nutrition, farm to school, and consumer sciences program areas.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention (SNAP) Nutritionist (BS required) will primarily be responsible for delivery of established SNAP public education programming to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among families and individuals encompassing all age groups throughout the Finger Lakes SNAP Region and Wayne County.
