Husband and wife team, Ben & Sarah Wood have built a solid foothold in the community with their delicious foods all produced within this open-kitchen bakery/deli since 1986. Sweet and savory smells waft down the street luring passersby with freshly roasted local coffees, baking bread or possibly roasting meats & vegetables into the afternoon. Harvesting herbs and vegetables from their own gardens in season as well as supporting local farmers is a given. Our most popular croissant (organic flour, local eggs, Vermont butter..)are sought out from miles away as well as Ben's French Country Pate are traditions of decades all made in their renovated 1930's Esso Station building. We are looking for our successors! Ideally a team or partners Chef/ Baker to help take the reins of our 32+ year old bakery/ deli business. Gaining momentum each year, we can't do it alone and need help! Room for innovation, fresh ideas and creativity. Loyal customer base, terrific location and reputation has made it a real destination for locals and travelers alike. We'd like to slowly phase out and help new management team learn the ropes. Professional pass down imperative to acclimate with current backbone crew. Intro to amazing customer base. Option to buy of this turn key business and property including recipes, trade name, domains and fixtures considered to approved interests if desired over time.
Compensation this position is : hourly, $15/hr + Application instructions
