Company description Yay Lunch is a start-up based in Charlottesville, VA with the mission to provide healthy lunches to kids where they learn and play everyday. How? YL curates the best lunches from local vendors in each market, offers families the convenience of online ordering with simple subscription options, and delivers fresh lunches daily to kids’ schools. YL currently operates in Charlottesville and Richmond Virginia, and we are quickly expanding - opening markets in the DC suburbs of Northern Virginia as well as Virginia Beach. Job description As the Market Captain for Northern Virginia, you will be responsible for the development of our brand and our customer base in this area. Developing and fostering relationships with schools will be your primary objective, and you will have significant autonomy to do so. You will also have oversight of daily operations, ensuring our product get to our customers on time, every day. The Market Captain role is a senior role within our company, and is the face of our company for the entire area. You will work closely with the senior team to direct the strategy of the company We compensate appropriately for this, with a salary / bonus / option structure.

To be a successful Market Captain, we need personable team members that are strong problem solvers, and great written and verbal communicators.
