Sales & Account Manager

Vassilaros & Sons is looking to hire an energetic, self-motivated, and tenaciously customer-centric Sales & Account Manager to maintain and manage existing accounts, create new sales opportunities, and effectively communicate our product offerings to current and potential customers in the F&B space.

Essential responsibilities and expectations

-SELL THE COFFEE!!!

-Live and breathe customer service and satisfaction

-Ability to get ahead of potential issues such as the loss of an account

-Ability to learn the basic working knowledge of coffee, espresso and tea preparation

-Ability to learn basic functionality of coffee, espresso and tea equipment

-Exhibit time management skills that coincide with outside sales initiative

-Exhibit working knowledge of industry trends, competition.

-Exhibit a tenacious attitude towards achieving individual goals

-Exhibit a “never give up” attitude

-Proven ability to problem solve

-Ability to work in a team environment that eventually becomes a second family

-Exhibit ability to persevere through frustrating customer interactions

-Exhibit stellar interpersonal communication skills with both the client and fellow co-workers

-Work every day to maintain a healthy sales pipeline

-Ability to manage receivables

-Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the value proposition of the brand while ensuring brand integrity in the short and long term

-Provide product and equipment training to end user

-Focus on development of long-lasting partners

-Seek, initiate and qualify new sales opportunities within assigned territory

-Maximize existing client base, pursue upsell opportunities. Dive deeper to become their trusted partner

-Ability to analyze sales reports and summarize

-Develop Key Account target list for continued Regional growth

-Participate in various industry events and necessary outside groups such as networking or charitable work

-Ability to understand the end users long and short-term goals

-Strong understanding of customers, customer service, and industry trends

-Ability to complete individual goals, work both independently and within a team environment, and have strong interpersonal skills

Preferred job requirements

-Tenacious work ethic, honesty and the desire to learn

-Associates degree or equivalent work experience

-Food service and/or sales experience

-You are a SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST

-Drivers license

-Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, CRM Software and/or similar systems

-You are a passionate, detail and solution-oriented

-Strong initiative and creative problem-solving skills

-Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent phone and email etiquette

-Organized, detail-oriented, reliable and dependable; Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong follow through

This position is Full-time

Travel 80% of the time within assigned territory, NY Metropolitan market
