Company description

Cedar Circle Farm is an organic vegetable and berry farm with a farmstand and education center. We have retail greenhouses, an on-site farm kitchen, a coffee shop, and a unique CSA program. We are a farm with a social mission to engage the community to develop and share practices that promote regenerative agriculture, good health, and a resource-rich environment.

Our farmers grow exceptional organic veggies and berries, and you’ll find all of this wonderful bounty in our farmstand.  There you will also find all the fresh and tasty foods we make in our farm kitchen (salads and prepared foods, cookies, fresh bread) as well as products from other local farms and small producers, like meat, cheese and other dairy products, and specialty groceries.

Our Hello Café is our on-farm coffee shop, located just behind our farmstand. This small but busy café serves organic coffee, tea, and espresso, as well as a daily selection of baked goods and prepared foods from our farm kitchen.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate, outgoing Education Programs Manager with strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to serve as a public ambassador to the farm through the management of our education programs.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to have meaningful and educational experiences on our farm, with the goal of nurturing and inspiring community members to be proactive in their support of regenerative agriculture.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in education, agriculture, ecology or a related field and 3-5 years of experience coordinating education programs with a focus on agriculture and/or ecology. Applicants must be highly organized, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work both independently and in collaboration with others.

This position requires management of 6-8 staff. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience training staff and managing a team and will understand the value of creating a positive team environment.
