OUR COFFEE menu is exclusive to Italian espresso tradition and taste, defying the trends of current cafes, and making us stand true to authentic café culture. Our limited menu will make you crave Italian delicacies, which we aspire to create for you daily.
THE FOOD menu is made of from the finest meats and cheeses imported from Italian vendors, local farms, and local bakeries. We prepare everything fresh and made to order.
GELATO & SORBETTO are prepared on demand by a craft’s gelato maker in New York that recreates the roadside gelato stand in the streets of Italy. Have a taste to have a taste of a delicacy.
WE STRIVE to stick true to seasonal ingredients, so our menu will contain various specials and alterations as the weeks and seasons change. Be sure to ask your server about any specials if you do not see any listed!
WE OFFER athletic wear, imported bicycles & so on, combining our love of food & cycling. It's a beautiful space with original thought and design, creating a unique experience. It's not a traditional coffee house/ cafe by any means.
Here at Maglia Rosa, we work to stick away from café norms and introduce you into a world where you can sit, relax, learn, enjoy, and explore forms of culture that you may or may not be exposed to. We invite you to join us for an espresso, a Panini or salad, and a scoop of gelato, so we can transport you to Italy, here in Brooklyn.
- Enforce FIFO
- Direct preps through communication and leading by setting example via both company standards and DOH regulations
- Prepare food items for the front case and pastry case according to company guidelines
- Prepare food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency of the final product in a high volume capacity
- Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, and rotated
- Monitor food levels and replenish items in a timely manner
- Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion
- Follow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product
- Maintain a clean and well organized work area
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
MUST:
- Be positive, punctual and vivacious
- Have a passion for food, quality, product, etc.
- Have a professional persona and execute superior product
- Be able to have fun!
- High School diploma
- Line cook/ Prep Cook at least 1 year
