Love Apple Farm is an 80 acre fruit & apple orchard farm located in Ghent NY /Columbia County. We are known for our U-Pick fresh fruit and apples --a long time family tradition. We are excited about our new farm market which is 4500 sq feet--it features local farm produce and specialty items. It also includes our popular, bustling café which features breakfast and lunch items with an American & Mexican flair. Love Apple Farm also has a petting zoo and an Art Gallery Space which is popular with tourists. We are a growing business developing into a successful destination spot for locals, weekenders and tourists.
The Café is looking for an experienced cook to assist with leading the kitchen with a sense of urgency while offering excellent food and customer service. Job description
In search of an experienced cook who is looking to make his/her mark in the culinary industry. We are searching for a FT or PT permanent kitchen expert who can assist with the operation and menu development of a small café. We are a farm to table experience featuring an American/Mexican menu. We serve breakfast and lunch using ingredients from our on-site gourmet food market which features local and regional NYS farms. Our Cook will be able to assist with any catering requests and on-site events. A go-getter with great work ethics and personality, our cook will assist in the success and development of the Love Apple Farm cafe'.
