Toby’s Estate Coffee is a specialty roaster located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are currently looking for someone friendly and motivated to join our sales team and help grow our coffee program.
Responsibilities:

Selling roasted coffee, cold brew, and brew equipment to cafes, restaurants, grocers, and hotels

Presenting coffee at trade shows and special events

Creating, following and generating leads; confident cold-calling and attentive follow up

Interstate Travel - seeking and setting up new domestic wholesale accounts; building relationships with local establishments for guest roaster programs and wholesale opportunities
Qualifications:
-
Deep knowledge and love of coffee

Previous sales experience in specialty food or beverage industry

Understanding of coffee brew equipment and coffee flavor profiles

Familiarity with the New York/ New Jersey region is helpful

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to present proposals to potential clients

Friendly, well-organized, with a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to carry coffee and equipment (up to 50lbs)
Key details of the role:
-
Hours – Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm or as needed (40 hours per week with one hour for lunch)
