Internship description

Our ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with the ability to take direction as well as be an independent worker. Our next Brand Marketing Intern will work between 14-21 hours weekly and is interested helping our team grow and expand for the future while being creative, having fun, and working hard. This highly dependable and motivated individual will assist in social media marketing, partnerships/influencer management, and content creation alongside the Founder and Brand Manager.

• Support Brand Manager in content creation such as blog writing, social media copywriting, photoshoot assistance, and monthly content brainstorms.
• Think creatively to brainstorm on-brand monthly campaigns for social media and web.
• Assist with food prep and styling during photoshoots.
• Support our team with Levels Provisions content marketing efforts, including copywriting and press releases.
• Assist Brand Manager with email marketing, social media, and partnership content planning.

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Food Studies, Design, or related field.
 

Intern has the opportunity to work virtually on most days but need to be physically in the New York/New Jersey area for photoshoots and occasional in house workdays. Our office is located in Downtown Jersey City, near Grove Street PATH station.
 

About You:

• Ability to work independently writing blog articles, marketing copy, or editing photos.
• An interest in food, nutrition, and health products in the social media sphere.
• A love for food and product photography.
• Excited about social media and brand management.
• Creativity and a desire to grow and learn!

 

Nice to Have’s:

• Photo styling and food styling experience.
• Experience with Canon, Nikon, and Sony DSLR cameras.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Food prep and cooking experience.
• Interest in nutrition and getting active (outside, inside, Crossfit, yoga, anything that moves you!).

We will be providing transportation (metrocard/path card), paid lunch, and free products. Compensation this position is : barter
