Company description

Cedar Circle Farm is an organic vegetable and berry farm with a farmstand and education center. We have retail greenhouses, an on-site farm kitchen, a coffee shop, and a unique CSA program. We are a farm with a social mission to engage the community to develop and share practices that promote regenerative agriculture, good health, and a resource-rich environment.

Our farmers grow exceptional organic veggies and berries, and you’ll find all of this wonderful bounty in our farmstand.  There you will also find all the fresh and tasty foods we make in our farm kitchen (salads and prepared foods, cookies, fresh bread) as well as products from other local farms and small producers, like meat, cheese and other dairy products, and specialty groceries.

Our Hello Café is our on-farm coffee shop, located just behind our farmstand. This small but busy café serves organic coffee, tea, and espresso, as well as a daily selection of baked goods and prepared foods from our farm kitchen.

Job description

We are seeking to fill several full season positions on our production and farmstand/coffee shop crews for the 2019 season (April to October).

PRODUCTION

We are looking for dependable, motivated, and high energy team players who aren’t afraid to get dirty. Every day is different here, and we hope that you enjoy the ever-changing nature of working on a farm. It is important that you get satisfaction from a hard day’s work. Duties may include: seeding, transplanting, harvesting, occasionally assisting with farmers markets, irrigation, processing and packing produce, pruning and maintaining perennial crops, and weeding and hoeing. Applicants should be willing to learn, work hard, and enjoy being outside in diverse weather conditions. Must be able to work well both in groups and independently. Farm work is very physical, so you must be able to lift 65 lbs and remain standing or kneeling for 8 hours. This position requires working five days a week – 4 weekdays and one weekend day. Must have a valid driver’s license. Read the full job description and apply here.

FARMSTAND

We look for applicants who take pride in their work, are genuine and kind, like to smile, and enjoy connecting with people. Working in our farmstand and coffee shop requires you to be able to work efficiently and skillfully under pressure while smiling! This is a great opportunity for returning seasonal employees who enjoy working with the public and have a strong interest in local, organic agriculture, as well as an interest in food and cooking.
