Company description We produce approximately 30 acres of certified organic medicinal herbs on our family farm. All herbs are grown, dried, and milled on-site. We sell to large distributors, wholesale accounts, and retail nationwide. Many of the botanicals that we focus on are perennials, and we produce all of our own seedlings in four heated greenhouses each spring. We started this business in 2015, and have grown fast in efforts to keep up with demand! We do not anticipate slowing down any time soon! Job description We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our herb farming team for the 2019 growing season. We are just about ready to start greenhouse production, so we're looking for someone ASAP. The right candidate will be seeking a physically demanding job, and have interest in all aspects of operating an organic farm - from greenhouse work to finished product. Tractor driving experience would be very helpful, as would decent Spanish, as our field crew comes from Mexico and speaks very little English. We are a fast paced team dedicated to producing dried herbs of the highest quality. We're looking for someone who can multitask and is detail oriented. Accurate record keeping on the fly is a must! This is a full time, at least 40-50 hours per week, position beginning immediately and lasting through November.
