At Bainbridge Vineyards, we are passionate about creating wine from the ground up. On eight acres of historic farmland, we tend to the rare and elegant varietals that thrive in the Puget Sound.

We are a small, female, cooperatively-run vineyard and winery. Growing grapes and making wine exclusively from our estate, certified-organic vineyards since 2013. We are the first Certified B Corporation winery in Washington State and the only 100% estate grown winery on Bainbridge Island. We are looking for a new employee to join our team and grow with our winery family!

TASTING ROOM STAFF

Position: Tasting Room Associate
Hours: Part-time 15+ hrs per week in Tasting Room and possible vineyard work. Must be available Saturday and Sundays. *We strive for every associate to have one full weekend off a month.*
Looking to fill the position by April 15th.
Compensation: Starts at $13.00/hour plus tips

About You: Bainbridge Vineyards is seeking a Tasting Room Rockstar! We are searching for someone who is personable and enjoys interacting with people, is knowledgeable about wine (or has some experience serving and/ or talking about wine and/ or is excited to learn more), is passionate about local food and farming, is organized, is detail-oriented, is self-motivated. This person will serve, as the winery representative so professional appearance and demeanour are a must. Must love the outdoors.

About the job:
- The ideal candidate enjoys engaging and interacting with customers and will be friendly, fun and informative.
- Tend the wine bar. You will lead group tastings, offer glass pours and merchandise purchases. 
- Responsible for keeping a clean tasting room, setting up and breaking down additional summertime bar each shift.
- May lead vineyard tours.
- Upkeep patio area by tidying patio furniture, watering plants, removal of trash.
- Assist Manager with Wine and Case Club operations and events during specific times.
- Possible vineyard work.
- Reports to Sales and Marketing Manager and Owner.

Requirements: Individual must be 21 years of age or older, non-smoker- drug-free, have a MAST permit or ability to obtain one, have reliable transportation, be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Must be a self-starter and be able to solve problems. Have experience with Point of Sale systems.
