Job description

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, the Special Projects Manager is responsible for assisting with Le Bernardin’s and Chef Eric Ripert’s general administrative duties as well as supporting in media relations, external communications and marketing campaigns, organizing of external events and philanthropy efforts, and acting as a liaison with the kitchen.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Strong Executive Assistant duties including but not limited to: calendar maintenance and schedule organization, travel logistics, general office correspondences, responding to and coordinating donation requests, maintaining contact database, keeping inventory and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Fielding media requests at the direction of Director of Strategic Partnerships and working in close collaboration with PR agency for all media inquiries, including facilitating and staffing photos shoots, compiling updated media kits, managing photo archives, organizing interviews with key staff members
  • Social media content creation, strategy and outreach
  • Assist with meeting preparation, partnerships, external events and other organizational projects
  • Assist with creation and distribution of e-blast campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain and update websites
  • Kitchen liaison duties including editing and updating menus as well as informational memos and dish description documents, coordinating all stages and new hires


Required Skills Include:

  • Exceptional written, verbal and editorial skills
  • Strong computer expertise including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Photoshop and other photo editing apps, InDesign, Constant Contact (or similar mailing system). HTML skills are preferred but not required.

The successful candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and will be self-motivated, detail-orientated, energetic and highly organized. The candidate should have an interest in media and communications. Strong administration, organizational and writing skills, a familiarity with media outlets and proficiency in Microsoft Office are mandatory.
