We are a small, women owned & operated preserves company looking for someone to help activate & grow our brand following. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with the ability to take direction, as well as be an independent worker & is interested in helping a little team grow both locally & nationally. You must be highly dependable and motivated individual. You will assist in marketing, sales and community outreach. You will be integral in helping us to grow our marketing efforts and presence. We are seeking a smart, passionate, quick-learning person! There is immense room for growth here at BRINS!

 

• Represent & market BRINS brand & all of our products
• Promote our brand through interacting with customers,  fellow small businesses, new & existing accounts as well as media outreach.
  • Responsibilities and Scope of work as below:
  • Sales initiatives/outreach & support (samples to potential new clients, research target markets)
  • Act as brand ambassador for product demos and events (in-store tastings) and other NYC local events.
  • Assist new customer inquiries.
  • Participate in all trade shows both local and nationally (must be able to travel)

• • Help to activate BRINS’ presence in the NYC area through local field marketing including direct engagement & partnership with local customers / businesses; including identifying & coordination of participation in relevant local events.

• • Work directly with the founder & team to build the BRINS brand and educate consumers about our awesome jams!
  • Broaden our outreach, build fan base & conduct outreach to influential media
• Opportunity to work remotely on some days but need to be physically in the Brooklyn office at least 3 days a week for various tasks/jobs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include some evenings &/or weekends
• Not afraid to wear different hats to learn and gain experience!
• Able & willing to lift 30 to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Ability to drive a car is a plus
