Job description Foragers Wines is an upscale wine shop specializing in organic, biodynamic, and natural wines and small-batch spirits. Foragers Wines is one part of the broader Foragers brand, which includes a food market in Dumbo, Brooklyn; a market and full-service restaurant at our Chelsea location; and a small-scale farm in Canaan, NY.

We are seeking a qualified and knowledgeable sales associate to support us as we grow and improve. Basic wine knowledge is required. The main qualifications for this position are a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and a desire to grow our customer base through social media and in-store promotion. Daily duties include POS sales, recommending wine and food pairings, participating in in-store tastings, and light shop maintenance (cleaning and stocking). This position is full time (five days/week, approximately 35-40 hours) and applicants must have daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
