Applicant will handle a variety of tasks from filing, to errand running, to assisting with farm events. This is a fast paced, self motivated, multitasking position.

NOTE: EVENT COORDINATION EBBS AND FLOWS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; THIS POSITION IS HEAVY ON HOSPITALITY, MAINTENANCE OVERSIGHT OF FACILITIES, AND ADMIN. DUTIES.

Job description

Principal Accountabilities including but not limited to:

  • Coordinate vendors and monitor progress
  • Housekeeping tasks
  • Administrative tasks such as filing and computer work
  • Inventory control of merchandise
  • Errand running for admin and farm teams
  • Coordinate maintenance contractors and work with other farm departments when needed
  • Assisting Event Coordinator with farm events and guest services
  • Set up, tear down events

Requirements: 
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends throughout the year, with 3 weeks in April and 2 weeks over Thanksgiving a must- including Thanksgiving day. 
  • Comfortable working on a mac
  • Creative thinker is a plus
  • Ability to life at least 50 Ibs. - Physical work involved 
  • Can do attitude, often with fast paced timelines
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Ability to self-motivate and solve problems with little direction at times
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strong service orientation to internal and external customers
  • Ability to walk 2 + miles a day on a hilly terrain 
Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $16.00 - $18.00 Application instructions
