MATTER, located in Bay Ridge is seeking a highly skilled 3rd wave barista, who can lead other skilled baristas. 

Role Responsibilities:
· Deliver impeccable HOSPITALITY to our guests and teammates 
· Dialing in espresso, latte art, various methods of brewing 
· Run food orders from kitchen, and maintain guest area as needed
· Maintain work area, and daily maintenance of coffee/espresso equipment 
· Cultivate positive, proactive relationships with all coworkers
· Regularly taste coffee drinks made by you and other baristas, to maintain standards and develop palate 
· Support your team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully

Experience:
· A minimum of 1 year working in a high-end third-wave coffee environment (e.g Stumptown, BlueBottle, Cafe Grumpy, etc.)
· Highly skilled in all aspects of coffee preparation: brewing, espresso, latte art, specialty drinks, etc.
· NY Food Handler's Certification preferred
