Company description
Sheepnose Farm is a small, diversified farm in North Canton, CT, focusing on fruit and livestock (sheep and chickens, mainly). We loosely follow permaculture principles and are organic in practice but not certified. In addition to a young orchard of heirloom apples trees (not yet producing), we are starting several kinds of berries. We have Romney sheep for wool and mixed breeds for meat, as well as pastured broilers. Some side activities include shitake mushroom logs, herbs, and flowers.

Building fences, weeding and mulching, carpentry (if you're comfortable with it), animal care for sheep, goats, livestock guardian dogs, and chickens, planting, harvesting, rotational grazing, mowing. I will work with you as much as I am able, guide and teach and also give you chances to try things on your own.
