Orange Dot Baking Company is a rapidly expanding baker of amazingly delicious and healthy gluten free bread, sold in Whole Foods and other retail stores.  We are looking for nutritionists, or those knowledgeable about good food, to help share the importance of eating well by sampling and recommending purchase of our delicious gluten free bread in Whole Foods in the DC area.  We want to spread the word that there is a great tasting, high-protein gluten free bread that is made without xanthan, guar or cellulose gum.

Major Responsibilities Include:

• Perform at least two 4-hour food demonstrations each week, primarily in Whole Foods in the Washington, D.C. area.  These can be done in the same day, with the day beginning at 9:30 am for set-up and ending at 7:30 pm after break down. 
• Transport and set up marketing and demonstration materials
• Prepare for and perform food samplings -- 4 hours per demonstration plus additional time for set-up and break-down
• Share nutritional information, bread and enthusiasm with customers and store team members

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of celiac disease preferred
• Love of healthy food!
• Optimism and a positive attitude
• Self-motivated quick learner
• An interest in customer engagement and education
• Ability to do light physical work to carry table and kit
• A reliable car and driver’s license
• Smart phone for communication
• Minimum of 8 hours per week, or two demos
• Adhere to all Food Safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines
• We are looking for coverage in these areas:
  • NORTHERN VA—Woodbridge, Fairfax, Alexandria, and Arlington
  • DC and surrounding area—Washington DC, Rockville, Gaithersburg and College Park
