POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Mission Chinese Food team, the Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing services while providing exceptional customer service. You are passionate about your role and take a hands on approach to problem solving, system implementation and mentorship of your team. You build and constantly expand on a program that maximizes sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to General Manager
- Communicates, coordinates and cooperates with all management
- Guides Front of House staff
- Interacts with restaurant guests, suppliers and other members of the community as needed
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- MAINTAIN AND PROMOTE A POSITIVE, SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
- ASSIST WITH OVERSEEING FOH OPERATIONS WHILE PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
- HANDLE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS & RENDER DECISIONS CAREFULLY AND SENSITIVELY
- ENSURE APPROPRIATE NIGHTLY SCHEDULING OF STAFF
- PARTICIPATES IN INTERVIEWING PROCESS; ENSURES PROPER ONBOARDING OF NEW EMPLOYEES
- ASSISTS WITH INVENTORY & MONITOR SUPPLIES TO ENSURE COSTS ARE KEPT TO A MINIMUM WITHOUT LOSING QUALITY & USAGE OF MATERIALS.
- SUPERVISE THE TEAM TO INCLUDE EFFICIENT STAFFING, TRAINING, TEAM DEVELOPMENT, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND POLICY ENFORCEMENT
- PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ALL GUESTS WHILE STAYING ALERT TO THEIR NEEDS.
- REPORT ALL HAPPENINGS TO APPROPRIATE PERSONS
- PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
