POSITION: Service Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Mission Chinese Food team, the Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing services while providing exceptional customer service. You are passionate about your role and take a hands on approach to problem solving, system implementation and mentorship of your team. You build and constantly expand on a program that maximizes sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. 

 

RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to General Manager 
  • Communicates, coordinates and cooperates with all management
  • Guides Front of House staff
  • Interacts with restaurant guests, suppliers and other members of the community as needed
 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • MAINTAIN AND PROMOTE A POSITIVE, SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • ASSIST WITH OVERSEEING FOH OPERATIONS WHILE PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • HANDLE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS & RENDER DECISIONS CAREFULLY AND SENSITIVELY
  • ENSURE APPROPRIATE NIGHTLY SCHEDULING OF STAFF
  • PARTICIPATES IN INTERVIEWING PROCESS; ENSURES PROPER ONBOARDING OF NEW EMPLOYEES
  • ASSISTS WITH INVENTORY & MONITOR SUPPLIES TO ENSURE COSTS ARE KEPT TO A MINIMUM WITHOUT LOSING QUALITY & USAGE OF MATERIALS.
  • SUPERVISE THE TEAM TO INCLUDE EFFICIENT STAFFING, TRAINING, TEAM DEVELOPMENT, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND POLICY ENFORCEMENT
  • PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ALL GUESTS WHILE STAYING ALERT TO THEIR NEEDS.
  • REPORT ALL HAPPENINGS TO APPROPRIATE PERSONS
  • PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

  • SELF MOTIVATED WITH EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS

  • TIPS CERTIFICATION & NYC FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATION
  • ABILITY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS & TROUBLESHOOT ON THE FLY
