Company description Rosemont began as one cozy store on Brighton Avenue. In the early days, we were five people. Today we employ more than 100 people. We have six markets in neighborhoods in Portland, Cape Elizabeth and Yarmouth, Falmouth, a whole-beast butcher shop, artisan bakery, savory and pastry production kitchen as well as an island delivery service.

Job description Our retail store managers hold a key leadership roll in ensuring store operations and culture are aligned with Rosemont's company strategy and contribute to meeting overall business goals. Our store managers are hard working, friendly, dynamic individuals who are also true lovers of food and growing the local food economy. Some job requirements include

• Previous leadership experience preferably in a retail food related business
• Provide excellent customer service as well as model professional behavior for all store employees
• Provide leadership to store employees and give regular feedback
• Scheduling and payroll 
• Oversee ordering, physical inventory and store point of sale for accuracy
• Interest in local foods and supporting the local food economy
• Attendance at management meetings
