FreshSpoke is an app-based marketplace that makes local food more accessible by providing wholesale buyers with the ability to source directly from local food suppliers, then coordinating delivery to the door using excess capacity in the commercial delivery system.

Job description

We’re looking for a personable and highly organized go-getter with knack for sales and a love of food to act as an outside sales representative for an array of local artisanal food brands in the Columbus area.

You will work closely with the Director of Supplier Engagement, supported by the Director of Sales. All training is provided - support every step of the way.

Your duties include: 

• Establish daily call cycles within the territory assigned
• Merchandise/sell products on FreshSpoke platform 
• Present new brands/skus to the retailer
• Process orders through the FreshSpoke app on a tablet (provided)
• Train retailer on how to use the FreshSpoke platform
• Face up shelves, deal with damages and out of stock product
• Sign up new customer within the given territory
• Reach quarterly sales targets
• Attend sales/product knowledge meetings either in person or by video conference 

Requirements:
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Excellent interpersonal skills - written and verbal
• Passionate about supporting local food
• Well organized and self motivated
