MatchaBar is a Matcha cafe & company founded by two brothers in Brooklyn, New York. MatchaBar opened its flagship—the country's first specialty matcha cafe—in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2014. In 5 short years, the team has opened 3 cafes and taken both a bottled & canned product to the national market. All the while, the MatchaFam remains on a simple mission: to bring matcha to the people, sharing better energy with the world around them!

You will gain first hand experience learning the ins and outs of marketing for a startup, helping us organize for events, create new content, and manage our digital community, and write for our new blog initiative.
Applicants should have a strong interest in the world of social media based marketing, excellent written skills, consider themselves organized, and be ready to jump at any question thrown at them. From helping source new influencers, communicate with potential customers on on social handles, blog post & copy writing, photo shoot assistance, and helping organize our digital content across calendars and handles. We aim to fully invite you into our MatchaFm and the more you are willing to share with us, the more we can include you in!
Being present in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office a minimum of 3 days a week will be required, and assistance in some (fun!) weekend activations such as music festivals and food trade shows may be asked. Must be able to receive college credit. Basic design skill not required but encouraged! Compensation this position is : stipend / non-monetary compensation
