The soul of bread baking begins with the mix - combine 3 simple ingredients - flour, water & salt, and hours or days later beautiful crusty loaves leave the oven.
We are looking for a full time baker for the mixing shift at our light filled, spacious bakery in Chatham NY - work pleasant 4 hour morning shifts Monday-Wednesday, two 8 hour morning shifts on Thursday-Friday, and a short 4 hour shift Saturday. The mix begins at 8 a.m.
Job requirements are:
-Ability to lift 50lb bags of flour
-Independent, 'can do' work attitude
-Understand and follow recipe sheets
-Work well with others in a bakery production environment
Have experience? Great! We will reflect that in your starting salary - the job has potential for more responsibility and greater pay!
No experience? No problem, we can teach you the basics - with a willingness to learn, you'll quickly develop a feel for the dough, the process, and the duties of the job - and we can raise your wage as you gain independence and knowledge. Compensation this position is : hourly, $15/hr + Application instructions
