Associate Brand Manager Care of Chan

Founded in 2016 by Sue S. Chan, we are the medium between creative ideas in hospitality and the rest of the world. Job description All candidates must have a love for food and be eager to learn more about how to promote and grow brands within the food and hospitality industry. We're looking for go-getters who are passionate, hardworking and humble. Ideal candidates will have media relations and client relations experience (preferably with food or lifestyle brands) as well as a foundational knowledge of marketing and how it can impact a company’s larger, strategic business goals.
 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Co-lead projects, communications, meetings and calls with clients, helping drive forward timelines and anticipating client needs and when to bring in the appropriate team member to aid in bringing projects to the finish line
  • Aid in creating year-long strategic marketing plans for clients that includes PR initiatives, partnerships programming, and large scale activations
  • Proactively seek out brand-building partnership and programming initiatives, mining for opportunities that will push our clients forward. 
  • Foster relationships with key press, bloggers, influencers and like-minded brands in food, lifestyle and business
  • Manage client photoshoots and on-site events when needed
  • Create and maintain media lists focused on client launches, openings and ongoing press outreach
  • Manage Care of Chan’s database, send invites and manage RSVPS for Care of Chan events
  • Research and brainstorm ideas for client initiatives and new business proposals 
  • Monitor for press hits, share with clients daily 
  • Create monthly press reports
  • Have a strong understanding and relationship with all clients through attendance of their events and happenings, regularly being in touch with them and visiting their establishments
