Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Manage Brand Management team, including supporting/approving their work, inspiring them to grow professional and holding them accountable to their deadlines
  • Working with team and other internal/external resources, create year-long 360 strategic brand marketing plans for brand clients that includes PR initiatives, partnerships, programming, and large scale activations
  • Seek out new business opportunities and manage leads
  • Write new business proposals and pitch to potential clients
  • Manage project-based client accounts (and/or retainer ones based on needs of agency), including leading day to day communications, meetings and calls with clients, helping drive forward timelines and executing client initiatives 
  • Handle outreach for brand building partnerships, media opportunities and larger brand stories while supporting all additional pitching efforts 
  • Proactively seek out brand-building partnership and programming initiatives, mining for opportunities that will push our clients forward. Support the sales team on all talent opportunities once deal has been negotiated, serving as your client’s main point of contact 
  • Foster relationships with key press, bloggers, and influencers across food, lifestyle and business media
  • Have a strong understanding and relationship with all clients through attendance of their events and happenings, regularly being in touch with them and visiting their establishments
 

Desired candidate will have:

  • 4-5 years of strong public relations, marketing, and client relations experience, preferably with food or lifestyle brands
  • Experienced leader who can manage a team’s growth 
  • The ability to communicate professionally, and confidently –  in person and over email. Someone who we can trust to speak on behalf of any of our clients 
  • Foundational knowledge of the food and marketing trends and how the opportunities available can impact a company’s larger, strategic business goals
  • Multi-tasker who can work on several accounts at once, with the ability to prioritize next steps and deliverables 
  • A proactive approach and a quick, creative mind
  • Love of food and drink, and appreciation of the international restaurant community
