Job description

The Job

In this position, you will interact with targeted virtual communities and network users as a story-teller, communicating brand values, promoting our products and providing customer care to our fans and friends.  You will be responsible for creating and managing a content calendar, and creating and deploying an organic & paid strategy optimized for channel, and audience.   You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms.   This job also goes beyond the digital, and you will attend at least 5-10 events a month.

 

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of social media strategy, paid search and social campaigns 
  • Mange and analyze metrics to optimize campaigns 
  • Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar
  • Execute paid social campaigns, including building them, monitoring performance, and real-time optimization
  • Create wrap-up reports to share with team
  • Maintain company social media pages and profiles and engage with audiences 
  • Generate, edit, publish and share content daily
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaign strategy
  • Nimbly create content as needed through ad-hoc photography, videography, and design
  • Manage a quarterly schedule with professional photographers, videographers, and designers
  • Manage targeted digital campaigns on Amazon 
  • Events:  integrate social media asks/goals into key events; attend events; capture content from events; wrap up reports for event-related campaigns; coordinate with remote team members on event-related social media needs
  • Partner with CRM and SEO team as necessary 

 

 Skills and experience

  • Excellent writing and visual skills 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication or related field
  • 1-2+ years working in the social media space, with strong preference for specialization in media buying
  • Knowledge of project management and web design best practices
  • Understanding of social media metrics
  • Art/Design background and interest 
  • Works well in a collaborative environment 
  • Ambitious, career-focused and curious
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects, and deadlines
  • Proficiency in MacSuite (Numbers, Pages, Keynote) as well as Word, Excel, Powerpoint

 

Compensation this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 Application instructions
