Small diverse, production to retail New York farm, located in West Winfield.
We are a very small highly diverse farm, we raise chicken, duck, turkey both meat and eggs, pigs, cows, sheep and rabbits. Also bees for honey.
We forage for wild edibles and have the opportunity to grow vegetables.
We are looking to expand through increasing production and sales and value adding.
Multi faceted position available for hands on farm work; predominantly focused on livestock but potential for growth and exploration of additional avenues, with some freedom to pursue interests of your own.
Must be level headed, have a willingness to learn and work independently.
Prefer licensed driver, must be able to lift, bend, squat, work in varied temperatures and lift 70 pounds.
Housing possible onsite. Open to creative ideas for job sharing for couple, etc.
