Bringing Farm, Food and Friends Together

Sustainable Norcross Inc. (SNI) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose primary project is producing the Norcross Community Market.

SNI is seeking a Farmers Market Manager. The successful candidate will ensure a safe and successful experience for vendors, shoppers, volunteers, sponsors, program providers, and the community at the local seasonal farmers market. This will include serving as the liaison for the Board of Directors to prepare agendas, arrange meetings, conduct regular communication, track and report data, and perform additional duties as directed by and for the Board. This position is also responsible for fundraising, grant writing, creating/managing budget, relationship building, community outreach, volunteer management, scheduling suppliers at the market (music, children's activities, chef demos, health and community/civic and sponsor booths, etc.).

The market runs every Saturday morning from June through August with flexible hours throughout the year. The opening is immediate, year-round and for one calendar year, renewable upon satisfactory performance and achievement of goals set by the Board of Directors.

Compensation is dependent upon experience. The position is as an independent contractor. Location is Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia.
