Carried Away Chefs is a boutique personal chef service catering to a high-end clientele throughout NYC. We provide in-home meal preparation for clients as well as custom events of all kinds, working from a centralized test kitchen and in client’s homes. With the every day hustle and bustle of NYC, our ultimate goal is to get families back to the dinner table to enjoy a convenient, delicious and stress-free way of eating together. We also do a range of customized events for anything from small intimate dinner parties, to larger scale engagement parties and corporate dinners. Our focus is on seasonal and beautiful foods from local vendors that are worked into all of our client’s different preferences and dietary restrictions.
Job description Join our fast-growing personal chef and catering company in the integral role of a client experience manager! A successful candidate will have strong communication skills and find joy in interacting with people. The client experience manager focuses on increasing client retention rates, driving loyalty and sales through menu planning and managing inbound leads.Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with culinary team to plan weekly & seasonal menus
- Manage day to day correspondence with clients
- Research and maintain knowledge of different diets, allergies, religious preferences pertaining to food
- Communicate with clients to plan menus and receive feedback
- Prepare client feedback and culinary trends reports
- Maintain CRM system and records
- Travel locally to engage with current, new and prospective clients
- Manage inbound sales leads
- Execute event planning initiatives
Requirements
- Hospitality Experience or Culinary Education required
- 3-5 years experience in a client-facing role- customer service, sales, marketing or relationship manager
- Willingness to engage with clients and team on evenings and weekends
- Knowledge and curiosity of industry trends
- Team player
- Problem solving skills
