Green Market Assistant : Green Market seeks 2 dynamic people to help support the market for the 2020 season. 

Position requires staff  to be available to support the Green Market Saturdays 6:30 AM -2 PM March 28 to Nov 28

Duties Include but not limited to: 

• Set up and tear down of market
• Assist  with up to 10 volunteers
• Support and assist market vendors
• Set up and support the market activities and guest,  such as Yoga, community groups
• Assist chef with  chef demonstrations and clean up,
• Support the Green Market Musicians
• Support the promotion of the Green Market via social media and photos
• Support Sponsor activities

General requirements:

• Knowledge of  local sustainable agriculture,  support of small business, and local farmers markets
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds 
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain
• Ability to manage volunteers
• Interest in desire to work with the public and be an ambassador for high quality local food
