Job summary:

This position will allow you to travel to major cities within New Jersey & New York to promote and sell Jersey Fresh Produce where it otherwise might not have been attainable.  You will be setting up farmer’s markets in different cities and selling our    produce and other items May Through December.  Weekends are required.
 

Summary of essential job functions:

• Build strong customer relationships with the diverse consumers encountered in the cities.
• Sell our own Jersey Fresh Produce at outdoor Tailgate Markets
• Promote Jersey Fresh Products & our fresh produce from our family farm
   

Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 18 Years of age or older
• Abilities required
• Fluent in the English Language
• Understanding of American Currency
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Have a flexible work schedule
• Able to work well with others
• Knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and cooking with fresh produce
• Weekends are expected as well as the ability to work the entire season (May-October) outdoors which includes working in summer heat and the cold of winter.
