The sales administrator position provides key support for sales, improving productivity for outside sales by supporting customers, fielding calls, efficiently handling sales orders and ensuring a smooth sales process. Develops leads and seeks opportunities to present additional products to current customers. Contributes to team success with quality customer service and achieving team goals. This position is customer focused, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and organizational skills.
Job Duties:
Data Processing:
Collect, organize, and file sales orders: input sales accurately and consistently via email and phone
Check and maintain data accuracy in orders and invoices
Maintain accurate records of current customers and prospect information
Qualify and develop leads for outside sales
Sales support:
Use excellent communication and best practices skills in customer service
Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions
Customer follow-up and support: via shipping samples, phonecalls, and email
Assess current customers and accounts, and guide customers through new products and opportunities
Team:
Supports the sales team to achieve monthly sales goals
Sales team administration: maintain sales records and compare with sales targets to help monitor progress
Job Qualifications:
Education: preferred minimum of Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management.
Prefer 2+ years of experience with CRM
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail for customer data entry with high accuracy
Strong organizational skills
Ability to establish rapport and close sales
Excellent interpersonal communication skills for customer support
Location:
Work is primarily remote, with limited customer and HQ visits in Western Washington and Oregon.
