Genuine Foods is looking for a talented and adaptable School Openings and Special Projects Coordinator. This individual will be a key team member of the corporate team working across all departments and regions, as well as overseeing the development of a new market opening division. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to get in on the ground floor of a growing company and learn about all aspects The right candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, project management experience, strong attention to details and motivation to work in multiple capacities. 
 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plays a critical role in coordinating all the various projects that have to be scoped and completed to successfully open schools and on-board new accounts.
  • Coordinates special projects and initiatives to advance company priorities and goals as assigned.
  • Convenes project teams and facilitates project meetings.
  • Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Monitors status and ensures completion of all projects related to establishing new accounts and opening sites.
  • Prepares presentations on progress of market and site openings.
  • Coordinates communication across departments and with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Independently executes strategic projects and research on all aspects of market openings, including working with the culinary, logistics, operations, and business development teams.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A college degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Google programs required, including knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. 
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • Professional or personal interest in food and food culture.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, self-starter, collaborative and solution minded.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines, and be able to multitask, manage and prioritize appropriately.
