We help talented cooks start health department permitted home restaurants which do contactless takeout and delivery. This is all possible because we worked to pass a law in CA to legalize the sale of homemade food. We help cooks manage, market, monetize and permit their business and help the in the journey of becoming first time entrepreneurs.

  Job description Help us grow our cook network and create community amung home cooks. You will be working closely with our small team in Oakland CA. We are looking for someone who is really passionate about home cooking, small business and breaking the barriers of entry into the food industry. 

Roles

• Cook calling and onboarding
• help cooks with menus and business management
• grow community among cooks (potlucks,workshops, group message)
• Social media support
• Travel to meet cooks across the state 
• Vett cooks (eat lots of FREE food :) )

Qualifications (preferred but not required)

• Business development
• Restaurant experience
• food styling and photography
• Comfort working in a startup environment (defining your job as you go/ implementing new procedures and systems)
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable with public speaking
• positive attitude and motivational (pep talks with cooks)
