The Pony Stall is a mobile farm kitchen based in Tannersville, NY. While technically a food truck, the Pony Stall is committed to sourcing sustainably, locally, and seasonally from our neighbors and backyard. We serve inspired, "farm food", bread from local flour, pantry goods, and pick up meals.
The Pony Stall’s mission is to create an inclusive, collective, and connective community around farm sourced food. We strive to embody an ideology, not an image; a movement, not a moment. The Pony Stall exists to serve ALL members of the community, and welcome those who come from near and far. While we can’t invite you into our “home” so to speak, we aim to make you feel at home and welcome in whatever space we inhabit, in whatever field we open our window to you.
We all work the window and the line. we are looking for someone with an open mind, who drives/ has a car, is passionate about farm focused food and adapting to the changing culinary landscape ,and willing to wear many hats.
We may be a food truck, but we get to be just as creative, if not more than a restaurant. We source with the utmost pride from our backyard of Fromer Market Gardens, and offer a culinary experience that does not otherwise exist on the mountaintop.
We operate two services a week- thursdays and saturdays in tannersville, but prep another 3, on pantry and meal pick up items. Restaurant or cooking experience is a plus although not required.
