An ever-expanding, successful, traditional (cooks in client’s home) personal chef business with 20 years of experience is looking for an additional contractor to serve the Main Line Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

Secret Ingredient Personal Chef Service is looking for the right chef who can creatively plan menus (including for those with special diets), can be organized and can execute efficient, delicious cook days in client homes for people with a variety of dietary needs.

COVID-19 protocol will be discussed during interview.

Personal Chef Job Description and Duties:

1. Initial client meeting after reviewing food questionnaire.
2. All menu planning, grocery shopping and food preparation for their clients.
3. Secret Ingredient pays for a monthly subscription to Modern Meal menu planning and client data base software. Chefs are responsible for learning to use MM. Tech support is available as well as videos on the website.
4. Must be dressed professionally when in the client’s home, wearing Secret Ingredient polo shirts or chef coats always.
5. Maintain relationship with their clients and report any issues to Secret Ingredient owner.
6. Be respectful in the client’s home and leave the kitchen cleaner than when you found it.
7. Submit all grocery receipts and checks to administrative assistant.

Requirements:

Must have a drivers' license and vehicle to travel to client homes. Appropriate liability insurance and specific computer planning tools also required (to be discussed during interview). Serv-Safe or other food handling certificate is a must.

Compensation is based upon size of each service created and experience level. Part- time leading to potential full-time, if desired.
