Our kitchen is located on a small, working farm on five beautiful acres in West Central Indiana, with easy access to Indianapolis and the greater Lafayette region
Job description
The Juniper Spoon seeks a talented, industrious person to join our team. This position is 40 hours a week of scratch food production, evenings or weekends optional.
Skills & requirements
- Strong working knowledge of traditional and modern techniques with an eye for presentation
- Ability to work with whole ingredients
- Must be able to work collaboratively with team and demonstrate good communication skills with both staff and public
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field, or 5+ years experience in the industry
- High level of independence, efficiency, creativity
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for majority of shift (8 hours)
- Current ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain certification if hired
