Compost Cabbie (Driver) Compost Cab

  • Date Posted November 10, 2020
  • Location Washington, DC
  • Category Agriculture / Business
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description

Compost Cab is a pioneering community composting service founded in 2010. We enable people and organizations to live their values and take daily action in pursuit of healthier, more just, more sustainable communities for all. Working together, we're saving the planet, one food scrap at a time.

We've advocated for and innovated around a scalable, sustainable, inherently-local business model for residential composting. We're proud to have built one of the leading organics recycling companies in the mid-Atlantic, and proud to have shared insights and coached entrepreneurs aiming to bring the Compost Cab model to their own communities.

In addition to our core home pickup service, we operate one of the largest farmers market composting programs in the North America. We also engage with municipalities, national brands, local businesses, schools, and other institutions and organizations on their zero-waste programs.

We've won awards for our work, and been featured in the Washington Post and on NPR, among other outlets. Compost Cab is a project of Agricity, and is proudly based in Washington, DC.
