Haven’s Kitchen is a creative cooking company that began with the belief that everyone has it in them to walk around their kitchen like a champion. That rings true from our first day as a cooking school 9 years ago, to the products we make today and tomorrow.

 

We launched our first product line of easy-squeezy, flavor-packed, fresh sauces inspired by recipes from around the globe in 2018, and since then have grown 200-600% every year, selling across the US in Whole Foods, Kroger, Target and about 1000 independent grocers. We are ready to lean into our mission with even better, more delicious, educational content that helps people feel supported, joyful, and confident in the kitchen.

About Your Role

You will be working with our team to build and execute a proprietary content platform and strategy that is engaging, fresh, educational, and flexible. You’ll be the hub of content – where all the business objectives will come together to create recipes, videos, and editorial that will take Haven’s to the next level. As you tailor our content to each channel, you’ll also ensure also the integrity of the brand across them. Eventually you’ll run our test kitchen and studio.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Founder and Brand Director to develop & execute a proprietary content platform with dynamic recipes, tips, and stories powered by Haven's Kitchen products that empowers home cooks to effortlessly improve their cooking skills and engage with our brand
  • Collaborate with Founder, Brand Director, and Ecommerce teams to create digital campaigns across several channels including social media, web, and email
  • Oversee the creation and management of recipes, photo and video shoots, and all other content for all touchpoints of the business, including displays/signage, email, website ecommerce, social media and marketing campaigns
  • Plan and uphold robust content calendars and production schedules for ongoing and recurring initiatives, product launches etc.
  • Oversee and grow social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc. with the support of Brand Manager
  • When appropriate, build out the HK test kitchen and studio, build out the team and manage all aspects of it
  • Uphold Haven’s Kitchen brand integrity across mediums and channels

 

 

You Are/Have

  • The unicorn that is both highly creative and super organized and efficient
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital content production and management
  • Food media experience, a network of recipe creators and photographers
  • Experience creating and executing an editorial calendar
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms
  • Flexible and nimble in a rapidly changing environment, able to course correct in a pinch
  • Collaborative but also decisive and drive toward a decision
  • A self-starter who can hit the ground running
  • Based in NYC area and comfortable working at our future in Headquarters in Manhattan
  • Excited about the Haven’s mission, love food, and genuinely want to help make cooking easier, more fun and more delicious for our consumers
