LUXURY FOODS DELIVERY DRIVER

JOB DESCRIPTION
Regalis Foods is a luxury foods company based in Long Island City, New York.  Regalis imports and distributes a wide array of specialty & luxury foods.

The Regalis delivery driver must be trustworthy and willing to learn, as well as personable and respectful during face time with chefs. The ability to lift and carry heavy boxes is necessary and appreciation of specialty foods is a plus. The Regalis delivery driver works in hand with the sales and operational teams.  Regalis promotes from within--90% of current Regalis salespeople and managers have started in this role. 

The Regalis delivery driver will:

-Make daily product pickups from the multiple vendor locations and airports. 

-Sort products and pack orders.

-Make customer deliveries daily.

-Work as an integral part of the sales team. 

-Report on face time conversations with chefs, restaurant happenings and any competitive products spotted in kitchens.

-Upsell products to chefs on delivery

-Learn Regalis products and be knowledgeable on them.

-Maintain a clean and organized warehouse daily.

-Maintain company vehicle

-Assist with other warehouse, receiving and inventory tasks as needed.

-Be hands on and flexible about duties assigned and be an active and positive member of the team.

-Communicate via personal cell phone, slack, and company CRM. 

-Sign a non-compete form.

Compensation $20/hour.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 6:00am start  

10 days PTO + 5 sick days

Insurance coverage offered-1/2 paid by company after 90 days
