Haven’s Kitchen is a creative cooking company that began with the belief that everyone has it in them to walk around their kitchen like a champion. That rings true from our first day as a cooking school 9 years ago, to the products we make today and tomorrow.

 

We launched our first product line of easy-squeezy, flavor-packed, fresh sauces inspired by recipes from around the globe in 2018, and since then have grown 200-400% every year, selling across the US in Whole Foods, Kroger, Target and about 1000 independent grocers.

 

Our goal is to be a resource for home cooking and create products that make cooking easier, more fun and more delicious.

About Your Role

As Social and Community Coordinator, you will be deep in our DM’s, representing Haven’s Kitchen across all of our social media channels, helping with cooking tips, responding to complaints (yep, fun). We’ll need you to keep your finger on the pulse of trends, memes, new channels and what’s working/not anymore. You’ll identify companies and people we want to partner with. As you grow into the role, you will take more ownership of our social strategy, brand voice, and execution. You will be an instrumental driver in creating and maintaining our brand identity and how we show up in the world.

 

You will be an active participant in ensuring an inclusive, diverse, and anti-racist workspace, and help us continue to create an environment where people can be their authentic selves. You will encourage people to share their perspectives and ensure all team members feel valued.

 

Core Responsibilities

Social Calendar: Craft the social calendar to align with business priorities, content releases, customer priorities and asset creation. You’ll create a bi-weekly preview for Instagram & contribute the social piece to our monthly marketing calendar.

 

Content Creation: Help our Brand Manager create content (caption copy, photos, videos etc.) and work with our partners to create differentiated assets. You’ll repost and cross-platform reshare UGC with compelling storytelling. Provide recipe inspiration, ingredient shop for weekly content shoot. Handoff to Brand Manager within 24 hours. Learn Canto tagging and management.

 

Cooking Tips: Our community often asks questions about how to use the sauces, simple cooking techniques and dinner help. You are their go-to sous-chef, cheerleader and Yoda. We also need more cooks in the kitchen, your recipe ideas are valued!

 

Community Support: You are the liaison between our community and our brand, answering their questions, thanking them for their support, and encouraging dialogue across our social channels (within 24 hours!). You will use our CX platform, Gorgias, to manage comments from digital ads and keep our CX and Marketing teams clued into community concerns and opportunities for improvement.

 

Contribute to Channel Strategy: We would like to explore other social channels and we’re looking to you to determine where we should go next, what resources we should put towards it, who we should partner with, and what the roll-out will look like.

 

Performance Metrics: With our marketing team, you will establish performance metrics and report performance every Friday in our weekly recaps. And you’ll help us use those reports to build better strategy and campaigns.

 

Find our Friends: Source and contact brands and influencers that we should partner with. You’ll then hand the contacts over to our Brand Manager to execute. You should be out in the social universe, commenting on people’s posts, engaging them with Haven’s and opening up our world.

 

Distribute UGC: Provide content to our Digital Marketing agency and call out any new content that would be beneficial to digital ad/email newsletter/sales efforts

 

You Are/Have

  • Proficiency across social media channels
  • Cooking confidence and expertise (no need to be a chef!)
  • Experience growing social media channels
  • Ability to work with data to track and report performance
  • Creative and a people-person, but also organized and efficient
