We are hiring a Kitchen Manager who is dedicated to making nutritious and delicious products to join us. This is a management position and has high potential for growth. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage a kitchen team of 2 and growing and coordinate with delivery drivers
• Work regularly with our Founder on everything related to kitchen operations
• Execute on company recipes and produce and bottle almond milk according to company and food production standards
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition. Sanitize workstations consistently to help maintain a clean facility
• Ensure orders are counted and sent out correctly
• Perform quality checks to maintain high standards of packaging, presentation, and product
• Work in a fast paced environment with a small and passionate team. Collaborate professionally with co-workers and business owners 

You are: 

• Able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently
• Self-directed and comfortable in areas of unfamiliarity. You have a good sense of what you don’t know or understand and are able to ask pertinent questions
• Flexible - able to adapt to situations quickly and calmly while solving problems creatively. You are a grounded person who is able to roll with the punches even when things don’t work out as planned
• Punctual, accountable, reliable
• Very detail-oriented
• A team player - ready to conquer any task and excellent at communicating both written and verbally
• Eager to learn about the rapidly growing alternative milk industry and work in a fast-growing startup
• Passionate about the Marin Living Foods mission - providing delicious, non-dairy milk alternatives made with the highest quality ingredients to promote a lifestyle of healthy living and eating
• Experience with food or beverage production and food safety is a plus
