The Hungry Moose Market and Deli in Big Sky, Montana is a community-focused business located in the heart of the Town Center of Big Sky, and at the base of Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort. Starting as a roadside veggie stand in 1994, The Hungry Moose has grown with the town over twenty-six years. 

The Town Center location is adjacent to the summer concert venue (free concerts every Thursday) as well as the weekly Farmer's Market. Our Deli is renowned for our house-made soups, salads, sandwiches and incredible baked goods. Our outdoor patio seating is full all day long with people enjoying our good food and a relaxing moment in Big Sky (between hiking, biking, fishing, rafting etc.). Our grocery is known for its premier wine section (more like a surprising wine shop), our excellent fresh produce (remember we started as a veggie stand)  as well as our grocery delivery service. Our staff all work together to provide a great customer experience for locals, visitors, second homeowners, kids, dogs, and pretty much everyone who passes through or lives in Big Sky. We are open every day of the year from 6:30am-9:00pm. This opens up many employment opportunities at two locations in a busy ski and summer resort town. 

• Assume ownership of the baking department
• Assign bakers daily work load
• Ensure opening/mid/closing duties are thoroughly completed each shift
• Train, guide and be a resource for bakers
• Execute and oversee special orders
• Assist in the development of recipes, menu changes and adjustments based on seasonality and cost effectiveness
• Help establish trademark "Hungry Moose" recipes that differ from other offerings in the area
• Order supplies, foods and ingredients
• Ensure customers are happy with the service and products, handling complaints and issues as they arise
• Other duties as assigned
