Do you love food, nutrition, sustainability and early childhood education? If so, this is the job for you! Turning Sun School is hiring a Food Educator/Campus Chef to inspire a culture of health and well-being in our school community through our Food Education Program. We believe that when children have early, positive experiences with food, they develop lifelong healthy eating habits. This position offers the opportunity to create a positive environment for children to experience and develop an enthusiastic relationship toward a variety of healthy foods.

Primary responsibilities include leading our Food Education Program; establishing collaborations between kitchen, garden, classrooms, families and community; coordinating with our caterer to curate experiences for children around food; lite meal preparation; serving daily plant-based snacks and meals and cleanup.

We are looking for someone who loves children, self-motivated, reliable and punctual, organized and has willingness to learn and grow.
