The Driver/Runner position is responsible for making deliveries to customers, picking up supplies /materials for the farm and helping with various projects.

Job Duties:

• Assisting our sales department by delivering produce 1-5 days a week.

• Basic vehicle maintenance (wash and gas)

• Deliver livestock and chickens (F350 towing a 16’ livestock trailer)

• Pickup of meat from the butcher

• Assist Sales Staff, Farm Mechanic, Maintenance Staff, and Events Staff by running for needed parts or materials.

• Assist Sales Team with various tasks including, but not limited to, picking, packing, sorting, fulfilling orders, loading and fulfilment

• Occasional (though not typical) Saturdays/Sundays may be required

• Other duties as requested

• Clean Driving Record - required by Insurance company

• Experience driving large vehicles

• Experience towing and backing smaller trailers (not tractor trailers)

• Able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds

• Able to work well independently and in a team environment

• Energetic/ outgoing personality

• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of customers, coworkers, staff and management. Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License

• Proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Apple, etc.) and Google Suite

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented

• Must be willing and able to walk up hilly and steep terrain on a daily basis.

• Willing to drive/sit for extended periods of time

• Willing to work outside in a variety of weather conditions – rain, cold heat and wind.

• Willing to work with animals

• High School Diploma or GED
