Come use your creative skills to feed your community! High Falls Food Co-op seeks a Deli Manager. Full-time position, early morning hours. The Deli Manager manages a small team in the preparation and merchandising of a wide range of to-go sandwiches, salads, hot meals, and other daily offerings for our loyal and growing customer base. This position provides a high level of customer service experience.

Required qualifications:

* At least 2 years in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

* Financial understanding of kitchen management, including margin and recipe costing

* Demonstrated personnel management skills

* Ability to create recipes and workplans

* Familiarity with a diversity of menus – including gluten-free and vegan

* Ability to bend, stoop, lift at least 50 lbs, and be on your feet for duration of shift

* Positive, cooperative attitude
