Job descriptionWe are a rapidly growing startup, delivering to Jersey City, Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn.
We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager who is able to oversee the hiring, training, production, quality control and distribution of thousands of beverages operating from multiple ghost cafes throughout the NY metro area.
The ideal person has a proven track record managing, scheduling and onboarding staff as well as an appreciation for food, beverage and hospitality. They are proficient in discovering and creating streamlined daily operations, are comfortable managing multiple platforms and proficient with delivery and logistics.
They display excellent leadership and are able to motivate and maintain multiple teams both in person and remotely.
They have a valid Drivers License and are able to commute between multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Set the tone and bring energy in everything you do while inspiring your team to do the same
- Hire, Recruit, onboard, and develop staff on a daily basis
- Ability to pivot and multitask
- Liaise with fellow Executives to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of production to ensure smooth progress
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
Skills
- Proven experience as General Manager or equivalent position
- Positive attitude with a “no task is too big or too small” outlook
- Ability to pivot and multitask
- Able to manage time, organize and streamline systems for efficiency
- Solid experience with creating processes, streamlining and training
- Flexible, adaptable, pro-active self starter
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
- Food Handlers/ServSafe licensing/certification
